My Enemy Complete started in 2004 as a collaboration of ideas between singer/guitarist Bilaal Y and drummer Brian Fasani. An electronic project at the time, the focus moved from non-linear, ambient pieces to a more song oriented approach. They were inspired by the dense electronics of Frontline Assembly and the emotional songwriting of Jeff Buckley.
