Q: Hey like your stuff!! If you wouldn't mind giving us a listen that would be awesome we would love to know your opinion!!!
A: Hey, just took a listen to your tracks. Good stuff! I think you could realize a lot of depth by playing around with some sound processors, and changing the "environment" that some of the instruments exist in. I had a student years ago, who worked heavily in the "Thrash Metal" sound. The hardest part to being a writer/composer/arranger is finding "your sound" and keeping it. Don't let anyone tell you that your sound or work isn't "correct". even if you're not a fan of his music, I highly suggest watching the Documentary of Philip Glass ("Glass: A Portrait of Philip in Twelve Parts"). My teacher always used to say "write down everything, even the garbage, you never know when it will come in handy". :) All the best! Brad
