Mr. Gat who began rapping at the age of 13 came from a religious and strict family from the Bronx. Growing up mostly listening to Gospel music his brother, Pop, would go to a lot of old school concerts and tell him and his siblings about them. When it was discovered by his older brother that Mr. Gat was penning his own lyrics his brother made him a beat which he never recorded. It was something that he will always treasure.
