Morality Check

Morality Check was established in 2002 as an all original heavy metal band. Lyrically based on mocking the ways society's portrayal of filth. Using musical hooks, they draw an audience of many individuals. Playing at many venues such as Peabody's, The Scene Pavilion, The Phantasy, No Excuses, The Hi-Fi, The Odeon, The Cleveland Agora, Clubs in Akron, Geneva, Troy, Mentor and Kent. In 2004 They rated highly on the X-fest BATTLE OF THE BANDS.

Morality Check recorded a full length CD at Mushroomhead's Filthy hands company recording studio, which was engineered by Tom Schaffner, guitarist for the Cleveland band Keratoma and mastered by Skinny, from Mushroomhead. Morality Check has opened for several National acts such as Staple, Mindless self indulgence, Dope, Mushroomhead,RA, 10,000 Years, Threat Signal, Darkest Hour, Nminic, and Soilwork. Morality Check returned to the Filthy hands company recording studio in November of 2006 to record their second CD which will have 15 songs. This time the cd will be engineered by Pat Louis and Steve Felton and mixed at State of Refraction studios by Jason J Welch.

In July of 2007 Morality Check went through a member change loosing two original members. After the first show with the new members it was evident that Morality Check had picked up right where they left off, proving that they are a strong force to be reckoned with.

NOTE: One does not have to be a religious person to have guilt. We all reap what we sow, and we all make actions while some times having to live with regrets. It is when you have a guilty conscience after living with regrets when you need a morality check.
