Inducted into The National BLUES HALL OF FAME as "Great Blues Musician" & named Blues Ambassador to San Francisco.
RALPH J. GLEASON said,"MONICA DUPONT sings like MUDDY WATERS & looks like MARY TYLER-MOORE"-BUDDY GUY compared her to JUNIOR WELLS.
She started recording in 1961 at age 13 & retired from music in 1983. Recent popularity of her old recordings convinced her to return with a new, All Star CD "Life Goes On" in 2008.SHE IS NOW 63 YEARS OLD. Current picture above.
