Bio
Mister Fernando is a rock and roll band from Atlanta, Georgia. The band was founded by Mark Lusk and Jonathan Zimmerman in 2003. Mark and Jonathan were in two other bands together and they began writing hard rock songs with an artistic and mature direction. This eventually led to a split, exploring all styles of music, by which the two wrote everything from disco songs to death metal and jazz.Thus began Mister Fernando. Mister Fernando's self-titled EP, and subsequently the next full length album, "The Strange" explores these diverse influences and demonstrates the power, finesse, and passion of Mister Fernando's original material.

Legend has it, years ago three to five men from the South, disguised in moustaches, traversed across a great river heading north and conquered a force of nature so complex and volatile that it can only be best described as miracles performed by saints. Though the story has become homogenized as it disseminated down throughout the generations, one thing remains clear, these “bandits” had to hide and acculturate to the local environment, hiding out as musicians; they began a long and ghostly career fighting for truth, justice and soul, rock and funk. Able to “drop it” in a single bound, ah yes indeed!
