Korean-American sisters born and bred in the Buffalo 'burbs, Knewdles (MC) and Sos (Violin) are the hip hop duo aptly named Misnomer(S). Whether it be the Asian female rapper angle, the prodigal hip hop violinist factor, or the two hot sisters hook, it matters not-- Misnomer(S) backs up any claims of novelty with quality music, a "killer live show" (as the NY Post writes), and a level of professionalism all too rare in today's rap game.

In the wake of the collapse of the music industry as we knew it, Misnomer(S) has taken it back to a grassroots level, performing over a hundred shows in the New York City area, planting roots in Brooklyn's most well known hip hop home, Bed Stuy, holding a monthly Youth Open Mic with the sponsorship of the Brooklyn Public Library, and continuing to be active in their various communities.

At the same time, Misnomer(S) has kept an eye on the national stage, with credits that include starring in a national tv/print/internet campaign for Converse One Star/Target, a featured promo spot for the upcoming Def Jam RapStar video game, acting/performing roles and sole soundtrack credit for Nelson George's latest project "Left Unsaid", and self-producing & starring in a documentary-style reality show pilot, "Knewdles & Sos", based around their lives and music. 

With their self-produced debut album "American Eyes" slated for release in early 2010, Knewdles & Sos are only just getting started. Who knows where Misnomer(S) will surface next.
