“In the mid 2009 two brothers (Mr. GOLD and Tajwar) who followed the same dream thought of forming a band. Tajwar knew a guy from his school who played drums (Tihan). So, they got together and started jamming. All they needed to complete the band was a vocalist and a bassist. They auditioned a bassist (Em4) on November 2009. Mr. GOLD had a friend who was already a well known musician in the local music scene (Raymond). At the time he was the vocalist of Silent Scream. They invited him but due to his busy schedule he couldn’t join the band until June 2010. (EFX), the turntable-ist was the acting manager at the time, he started playing with the band on the early 2011. The band dubbed themselves as MinUs+2. It is written MinUs+2 with a capital ‘U’ and a ‘+’ but pronounced just ‘minus two’. ”

“Song Title: Circling Down Who came up with the lyrics and tune? Bishoo: Long time ago me and my brother Tazz, we were messing with some processor tones.... Who would’ve known that would be the start of creating a song like Circling Down?... Rezwan liked the tune a lot. He went back home and jotted some ideas down on a paper...... What is the song about? Was it just a random composition or is there a story behind it? Basically the song is about the youth and the drug abuse that is going on everywhere. We are just trying to send a message to the youth of today that drugs might be fun at the moment, but by the time we realize it would be like sitting inside a dark room and trying to stay away but yet we circle down to where it all began. We just wanna remind all the drug abusers out there that “Someday you’ll break, and never mold again”. Circling Down was definitely not just a random composition..... How do you think your song will contribute to make the album ‘Play It Now’”

“In the year 2009, the Bangladesh rock scene first witnessed the arrival of a young, but extremely talented band who dubs themselves as MinUs+2 (Though the band's name is spelled with a '+'the real name of the band is pronounced as just Minus Two)..... They had trouble being on tune but overall they were OK. Unfortunately, this young band wasn't very memorable next to the big guns; clearly they need a lot more work/practice.”

We had a great year of good music. To some extent, really great music. Ventured out from classical festivals to hiphop concerts to rock tours. And we're more than happy that we got some amazing response from all of you for all kinds of these gigs. This year, we wanted to spread out to the arena of GOOD MUSIC and we're excited to work with some more of these genres more. So how can we end the year? Say we are in a post-apocalyptic world on New years' eve. Well there are a billion parties on that day in Bangladesh, and clearly the liquor industry will be on the cap! And we don't want to put up yet another party and ruin plans for all. So how do we go by it? A few questions before that: a/ Are you up for some pre-party? b/ Do you have the energy to party up, for like 12 hours straight? c/ Can only attend anything before midnight? Asking these, because we are about to bring to you a mix of all that we've done for the last few months to one single stage - a festival of lights and sound with some of the best musicians in town ranging from pop to thrash metal. Yes, wide range, but promising that it'll all be good, and worth staying for! ;) So bunk office-work, classes, freelancing, dates (hey but only for a day, you are allowed to (pre)party with good music, and join with the following acts: # CRYPTIC FATE # NEMESIS # SHUNNO # POWERSURGE # BLUNDERWARE # 42 # THE MANAGER # A NEW ACT THAT SOUNDS LIKE "NONE OF THE ABOVE": If you are a solo musician, a duo, a trio, a weirdo, or a band that sounds crazy and havent worked with us previously, we'd really like you to be onboard.
