Michael has been playing and composing music for over 40 years, begining at age of 10 with the Violin. He has also studied the Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Baritone and Alto Saxophones. He has played with over 30 bands in as many Genres, and has Produced and Arranged hundreds of tunes for many of them. 

Michael's Digital Audio Workastation has taken the majority of his interest in the past ten years, as his computer experience and his musical background have begun converging. His primary focus has been to maintain the natural or "human" feel to his compositions while working digitally in Logic Pro and Pro Tools. 

Recently in music, Michael has been playing Bass in a Jazz ensemble in the Albuquerque, NM area with pianist-Chris Cordova, drummers-Doug Bond, and Ken Bataat, and singers Charlie Baca, and Vincent Kaniatobe. 

He also plays bass with a group named Entourage featuring four vocalists - Suzi Corley, Checky Okun, Marisa Hausenfleck, and Cynthia McRae, and musicians Matt Chavez-drums, Garrett Quintana-guitars, Lynda Abshire-keyboards, and Josephine Randles on sax. 

Michael's main gigging instrument is a vintage fretless Fender Jazz Bass. Other instruments he plays are a Fender Precision Bass, a Hohner Acoustic Flattop Bass, a Schecter-Stratocaster 6-string electric guitar, an Ovation 12-string acoustic guitar, a Seagull 6-string acoustic guitar, and a Pimentel 45th Aniversary classical guitar. 

Recording gear consists of a Mac running Logic Pro Studio, an M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 keyboard, a Keystation 44, an M-Audio Firewire 410 digital recording interface, a pair of KRK Rokit-5 studio monitors, and a pair of M-Audio BX5a studio monitors setup for surround sound recording.

Michael is also a freelance graphic designer and photographer.
