Hailing from the Brew City, Micah has been an active performer in the regional music scenes for the last five years. His diverse songwriting mixes elements of folk, funk, rock, and world music into a distinct sound that will leave your head bobbing and your toes tapping. Drawing on influences from Paul Simon to the Talking Heads, Micah and his band the Hype Machine have been gaining a steady following in the Midwest scene. They've played reputable venues like Shank Hall, The Annex, and The Miramar Theater. They have also attracted many new fans over the past few summers at the Locust St Festival and Harley’s 105th Anniversary. This past summer they made their Summerfest debut, with three appearances throughout the festival.
