MFO was formed late in 2004 by composer Mace Francis to experiment with composition, in the style of the great modern big bands. They have released 5 CDs, toured nationally four times 2006, 2008, 2010 2011) and performed with international guest artists Jim Pugh (USA), Jon Gordon (USA), John Hollenbeck, Theo Bleckmann, Satoko Fujii and Natsuki Tamura.
The new CD "Neverever... Well, Maybe Someday" has gained national and international interest.
