Men In Spex came together in December 2000 in Suffolk, England, writing and performing original rock music with influences from a number of styles from the 60's to the present day. Original members Neil, Martin, Robin and Ren pooled their musical tastes and experiences to write songs they liked but which followed no particular genre, mixing styles to suit the needs of each song.

“Unsigned originals rock band Men In Spex won Patrick Kielty's light-hearted Last Chance Saloon competition on Radio 2 and played live in the BBC Radio 2 studios on Saturday 25th Sept 2010. The band, with no prior national radio experience, thoroughly enjoyed their time in the BBC studios and played the show out, the last in the series, with a storming live version of their winning song "Say What you Want".”

Great Gig at the Five Bells

Had a great bonfire night gig at the Five Bells in Hessett, Suffolk, shared with local blue-rock band Blue Bark. Despite the miserable rainy weather there was a great turn out with the pub busy the whole evening.
