““Melanie Peterson performed an original set this month at the Cameron House, one of Toronto's most happening venues. She brought in a ton of friends and fans to join her in the fun.””

““This is an artist who knows how to entertain an audience, playing three 45-minute sets to a packed house of admiring fans. In addition to crowd favourites such as ‘Unbreakable’ she also played tracks fromherupcomingalbum called ‘Anywhere From Here'. This unassuming young woman, who is also a trained actor and dancer, acknowledges with great humility that she has a talent for what she does and is grateful for it.”

"If you are looking for super live music, check out Melanie Peterson, a terrific singer and songwriter I saw recently at Starbucks at Queen and Niagra. She sounds just as good live as she does on her album, After The Fall. She has a beautiful voice and her songwriting is tops too."

Joe Warmington - The Saturday Sun

"Easy to look at and easy to listen to, Melanie Peterson has a perky, pleasant persona on stage and a talent that finds poise in it's expression. A familiar presence across Toronto, this songwriter has a precision and lilt in her voice and instrumentation that echos folk but also has a catchy pop feel."

Gary 17 - Toronto Moon Magazine

"Guitarist and mandolin player Bob Strome has been telling me to check out young Pop songwriter Melanie Peterson for almost a year now and I've seen her name popping up in the magazine listings frequently on bills at places like Cameron House, Mitzi's Sister, Liberty Bistro and Fitzgerald's. I finally did get to hear her do a set of originals and covers a couple of weeks ago when she and her band packed the Liberty Bistro fo a Saturday night show. I was not disappointed. A melodiacally enchanting and musically adept guitarist and singer, she was backed by three very talented players that included Strome,Peter Collins on the bass, and Glenn Barna on drums, and had the dinner crowd there eating out of her hand. I'd call her music smooth pop, as it is inviting and sweet."

Gary 17 - Toronto Moon Magazine

“Young Toronto singer/songwriter Melanie Peterson is blessed with a delicate yet potent sound that harkens to early Joni Mitchell. Melanie is a top shelf songwriter serving up songs that explore all things romantic. She is destined for big things."”
