The band was born in january 2007 in Cartagena city, the first time we like to make music only for our friends.
the band is: Alvaro Guerra (Vocals), Luis Atencio (Guitar), Anibal Hernandez (Guitar), David Torres (Bass), Rafael Morelo (Sax) and Abraham Castillo (Drums) and Hugo Gonzalez (Percussions)... Mekanica it's called "The Reggae Machine"
the musical influences of the band is the reggae, ska, soukus, and many african rythms

We are a colombian reggae band.. Mekanica is the result of many caribbean sounds... the beach is the escencial inspiration to make our music.. we like so much the rocksteady, reggae roots, dub, calypso, socca, zoukus etc..
