The bands first breath came in 2001 right in the heartland of Los Angeles, California. The group consists of musicians with backgrounds that stem from El Salvador, Belize, Mexico, Argentina, Norway, and the united States. The band members multicultural background allows for people from all over the world to connect and be one by enjoying the sounds, melodies and the unique inverted musical structures that Mayaztek brings to their shows.
