Philadelphia based Mat Burke, has experience beyond his years from time spent on the road growing up in a handful of cities nationwide.  With all of the change, the only constant was his appreciation for writing, singing, and performing his music. Burke, has seen, heard and experienced more than most college seniors and these experiences provide the substance of his poetic lyrics.

The music is edgy acoustic-folk, a style that transcends and draws comparisons a variety of artists from Bright Eyes to Dustin Kensrue to Bob Dylan.  His style of playing generates a rhythmic energy that has captivated a variety of audiences in the northeast. While performing live his song seem to gain a momentum that catapults the audience to their feet, providing them with a memorable and exciting experience at venues including Philly's World Cafe Live, Chaplin's Music Cafe and The Westcott in Syracuse, NY.
