MassPyke-'SoulJahs' da' 'Ghetto People Band' and 'Fyah Crew'

MassPyke-Ghetto People Band is a combination of a few things.
First let's talk about 'MassPyke Productions'. 
    'MassPyke' is a Music Pre-Production Studio.  It's Name is called: 'MassPyke Productions', and here the Producer/& Drummer-'Fadda' Glen A. Grant, sits down with an Artist, and creates the music that fits that individual artist/or singer.  Sometimes, an 'Artist' might hear a rythm that another artist has already sang on before, and wants to also perform on it.  This is good too.  So, the producer takes that song and fits it to the personality of that individual.  Each song has it's own feel and vibe. 
Next, Is the 'Ghetto People Band', or also known as: 'SoulJahs' da Ghetto People Band'.  'SoulJahs' was the Drummer-Glen Grant's original Band, back in the early 90's, and was retired,  until recently.  Good News is that, Glen has put the band back on the road again, now called, 'SoulJahs' da Ghetto People Band.  

This is a group of Musicians, who have come together to create the 'VIBE' for a single artist, or group of artists, who want the 'Ghetto People Band' perform their music on stage, for them.  'Ghetto People' then performs, that 'VIBE'  that the 'Artist' needs to sing their songs and their message to the audience. Ghetto People works hard to create this VIBE, and does not cut corners, or infringe on the orginal creation of the music brought to them to perform.  They will do the utmost to recreate the music, and put it out in such a way, to raise the Vibe of the sound and energy it has potential to express.
There is 'no-one-set' of musicians, at any one setting.  It depends on the vibe the artist or the band wants to put out at the time of the show.  You can be sure of the foundation of the band, and will find 'KEY' musicians such as 'Bass' players and always the same 'DRUMMER'.  Let's talk about them for a second. 

The 'DRUM and BASS' section, known as the "The Fyah Crew", which, stands alone, consists of the primary players, 'Drummer' Glen Grant, and 'Bass player', M'Talewa.  We'll talk more about them, later on.  Second, but, none the less, very important, 'Bassie', Reggie Beazer, who played for 'Motion' and currently for 'Bamboo Station', and other bands in the circuit, like 'Hot Like Fire', and 'Island Breeze', just to name a few.   On the Keys, Ghetto People has been blessed with talented musicians, who work hard to make the band Sound Ripe and full.  Keyboardist like Yusaku Yoshimura, Rider McCoy, and sometimes filing in on keys; Reds Lima.  These Talented musicians play from many bands in the New England area, too many to mention, but, so that you get a feel for who they are, and where you can see them doing their magic, we will mention a few bands you can find them playing in other than just the 'Ghetto People Band'.  Yusaku circulates through out the circuit, and comes from Berklee School of Music.  He plays many styles and techniques on the keys, and holds his own, as well as compliments other keyboard players on stage with him.  He can be found playing with any band, around the Boston, New England circuit, and beyond.  Rider McCoy, has been in the Boston circuit for a very long time, also from the Berklee school of music, and you will have seen him most performing as the main 'Dub Station' in the band 'DubStation', and has been currently playing with a band called; 'Roots Nation'   His skills of maintaining 4-5 keyboards surrounding himself, and many other tools, qualify him as a 'One-man-show' musician.  He currently plays the circuit as well, and can be found, where ever his 'Keys' and Fingers lead him.  Reds Lima, another accomplished keyboardist and well rounded musician, and also from the Berklee school of music, plays mainly with the 'Hot Like Fire Band', 'Island Breeze' and 'I.R.S.' band, and a few other bands down in R.I.   For guitarist, there is no shortage on these talented musicians either.  We have been blessed with the skilled craftsmenship of Sean Acker, who can hold both lead and rythm, and pluck the bass line too.  He has been in the circuit too with many bands, and stays close to the Drummer, as much as possible.  Then we have Zack Monroe, who recently started working with the band, now a foundation Guitarist for the band, and will continue to do so. Zack or as the band calls him; 'Zack-attack',  is also another skilled craftsmen on his axe.  He plays mostly with the band 'Vibewise', and is a valuble addition to the 'SoulJahs-Ghetto People Band'.  You never know who will be playing in the Ghetto People band, because it is what it is, a band for the people.  Whatever the vibe, or where ever they are, they will be picking up the musicians, where ever they go.  These are just a few of the talented people who pass through the 'Ghetto People Crew'.  One thing is sure, and is the 'MOTTO' of the band, which is: 'If you want to play with the Ghetto People Crew, leave your egoes, and what you think you know, behind, and go home and practice the music at hand, then come and talk to the 'Fyah Crew'.  We don't boast, Fuss, or Fight!  We just want to Make Music Right!
    Now, it is this same 'Fyah Crew' that teams up, too mix and produce the rythms you can hear above, in the player.  This team is known as "Faddah 'Glen' the General", from 'Masspyke Prouductions', and "Master Engineer - 'M'Talewa', from 'Wild Cubby Studios'. 
They work between 'Masspyke Studio' and 'WildCubby'.  They are known to work where ever there is a board, and a variety of instruments, a Computer or two, and many gadgets, that can make music.  Sometimes, they have been known to create their own 'jig-a-ma-jigs', to get that special sound that they want to capture.  They are masters of this ART FORM,  though, they will tell you different.  These 'Elders' in the music world, decided to come together and make wonderful things come to life, through this Art of Music.  They have both worked as skilled musicians, in their areas of expertise, according to their instruments of choice, and with many bands and artist.  The Drummer has played all over the world, with great bands like the original  'SOULJAHS', 'U.N.I.', 'RISING LION', and most notable, the 'Orthodox 12 Tribes Band', in New York, just to give you an idea of his skills and history in the music world.  We'll stop there, just wanted to give you a taste of who they are.
    We can't leave out the singers and many other players that come together to make up the 'Ghetto People' Vibe.
You can hear and see Artists like: IGina IJah, Shaka Black, Livalect, Trinity Children of Man, Micheal Gabrel, Jahriffe and Dinquinesh (from Jah-N-I), Journalist Bandoo, Mr. Lee G, Galta & NiJah, Jahra, D!Arryval, Silva Duss, Lady Lee, Max Dread Miniya, Mento, King-I, Warrior King, Rusty Zen, Patrick Junior, and Chezidek,'Squidly Cole' , 'Cat Eyes', 'Little Hero' ,  just to name a few.   The List is long, and more to come on board.  There are so many others that are planning to come thru, and to help spread the Vibez.  That's what 'Ghetto People Band' is all about.
    'Masspyke-Ghetto People Band', 'SoulJahs', and 'The Fyah Crew', want too be known for 'Playing the music in the spirit, not of the body'.  'Ghetto People' are the 'King David's musicians, singers and players'.  Lifting music to a higher place, leaving the EGO behind.
