Marlon McClain is excited about the release of his CD, *TBD* (to be determined) which is a guitar driven mix of fusion, funk. R&B, and jazz with undertones of rock and blues. In 1981, he released “Changes”, which featured special guest Jeff Lorber, Steve Smith, and Randy Jackson."TBD" includes collaborations with Damian Erskine, Phillip Martin, Patrick Lamb, Tim Bowman and keyboardist Jeff Lorber. TBD is good music to listen and drive to.

“Producer/songwriter/guitarist Marlon McClain's delicious and solid solo recording (only his second since 1981) is a sort of trumpet call for the unleashing of a long-buried catalog of some of Oregon's finest music.
For those who don't remember Portland's fertile music period in the late '70s and early '80s, McClain led a soulful and horn-fueled jazz and R&B band called Pleasure, which landed on the Fantasy label in 1976. Discovered by legendary producer Wayne Henderson, McClain and his bandmates were propelled to international stardom.
