Bio
Mark Weber grew up in a house where his dad always had jazz playing on the radio and his mom loved listening to 60s Motown artists and 70s singer-songwriters. Today Mark fronts the pop-jazz trio Uptown, with his dad on vibes, entertaining a wide variety of appreciative audiences. Mark's goals are to continue to use music to help make people feel good, be internationally known for singing/performing, to have a #1 hit song, win a Grammy, and perform with other artists whom he admires and enjoys. Besides "bringing classics back," Mark's working on his postmodern pop album with producer Joe Secchiaroli (This Day & Age, More Than Me, The Reign of Kindo).
About
If you meet Mark Weber in person, you won't forget him. Known for his charisma, energy, positivity, quick-witted sense of humor, and encouraging spirit, Weber is an engaging people person who counts over 4,000 people in his email address book. A modern day crooner, Weber keeps busy as the singer for his pop-jazz trio, Uptown, doing about 50 concerts a year.
Though he got his start in a multi-cultural Gospel choir, classic love songs are Weber's specialty as of late-- songs like "When I Fall In Love," "Besame Mucho," "There I've Said It Again," and "That's All."
As a vocalist, Weber has been compared to Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Elvis Costello, and Dean Martin, among others.
With the warm sound of the piano, the driving beat of the drums, and the church bell chimes of the vibraphone, Weber's smooth tenor voice makes people feel good.
