Mark is a skilled keyboardist and composer with a diverse background. As a youth he studied piano with Jerry Grey as well as Gene Confer. Later on he studied music under George Shaw at L.B.C.C. and Cal State Long Beach performing with Lionel Hampton, Joe Pass, Clark Terry, Micheal Sembello, and Ronnie Laws. In Portland Mark has performed with LaRhonda Steele, Obo Addy, Reggie Houston, Olivia Warfield, Debra Arlen, Dave Milne, Cari Simms, Norman Sylvester and others too numerous to mention.
