Bio
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Mark started to play guitar at the age of five. From a musical family, Mark's mother loved Bluegrass and Country music. His brother Ken played with Craig Fuller, who formed Pure Prairie League, and wrote "Amie". At the age of 15, Mark played in various bands and had his first professional club date at age 16. Mark moved to Houston in 1982 and played in numerous country and rock bands, which allowed Mark to further express his talents. Blues has always been an interest to Mark. When he hosted the Monday Night Jam at The Crews Quarters in Seabrook, his love for the blues really took hold. A friend turned Mark onto the music of Blues legend Albert Collins and that made a lasting & profound affect on him.
