Mariana Martin is a Jazz singer & composer born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mariana has a degree in composition from the Dick Grove Jazz School Music in the US as well as a degree in Music Theory from the Brazilian Conservatory of Music. Mariana is a very active jazz local artist and has performed for three consecutive years Upstairs at The Van Dyke Cafe together with bassist & music director Dr. Don Wilner and Jazz pianist and Professor Mike Orta.
