Bio
Marcomé (pronounced Marco-may) is a Canadian singer songwriter.
Celestially voiced, she blends English lyrics with a unique wordless language that bring us into a vibrant and atmospheric universe.
Marcomé carefully and artistically fuses together certain middle-eastern sounds with jazz style vocals and blends world music with new age music. Her remarkable debut album Seven Seas went around the world for years now and her new upbeat Elixir River of Soul is now riding the waves.

About
Review by Anne Williams

River of Soul is an excellent example of what the mix of spiritual music with new world music can sound like. Marcomé is a singer, composer, and keyboardist with a unique, appealing style. She sounds slightly Brazilian, but that’s just a guess on my part for I think she's French Canadian. Her songs are part vocalization, part lyric, all well written, produced, and performed. Having the acoustic sounds of guitars, percussions, flute, cello, mandolin, and bass greatly warms up the sound and balances the keyboards very nicely. Excellent musicianship and great songwriting throughout make this a CD worth having. Particular favorites of mine are “Arabica,” “Meteora,” “Terra Africana,” and “Nostrie Tiempo.” The last one closes the CD and has the sound of the group Adiemus. An excellent album. Highly recommended.
