The first annual Porkopolis Pig & Whiskey Festival Cincinnati will descend upon downtown on June 20 for a full day of BBQ, whiskey sampling and outdoor entertainment! CityBeat events is partnering with the Horseshoe Casino to bring this FREE event to life in the heart of Cincinnati! Pig & Whiskey will showcase 8 to 10 of Cincinnati’s best barbecue restaurants while highlighting unique and delicious pork, beef and barbecue dishes. Furthermore, there will be over 30 varieties of bourbon, scotch and whiskey brands available to sample. There will also be a beer tent for those seeking an alternative to whiskey. Food and beverage will be available for cash purchase. Porkopolis Pig & Whiskey Festival Cincinnati will also feature an exciting line-up of entertainment! At the top of every hour starting at 1pm the festival will feature americana / bluegrass music from some of the best that Cincinnati has to offer. At 8pm our headlining national act will close out the evening. The event will also feature whiskey chatter - offering an intimate, living room setting for whiskey education. Attendees will have the chance to chat with master distillers and whiskey experts on everything from the spirit’s unique Kentucky history and attributes to the distillation process and more.
