Having given solo concert tours across Canada, Hawaii, and Europe, violinist Lynn Kuo has app<eared as soloist with numerous orchestras championing both the standard repertoire as well as the contemporary.

As a proponent of new music, Lynn has given numerous world premieres in Canada and Europe of compositions written for her by composers Michael Pepa, Dennis Patrick, Katarina Miljković, Daniel Foley, and Elizabeth Raum.

In both 2005 and 2007, Lynn toured Eastern Europe giving both solo and chamber music performances featuring the works of Canadian composer Michael Pepa. As head of the Les AMIS Ensemble, a flexible chamber group that performs under the auspices of Les AMIS Concerts, she will be returning to Europe in 2009 to premiere a new Pepa work to be composed for the 2009 Music Biennale Zagreb Festival in Croatia.

In September 2007, in Barrie, Ontario's Colours of Music Festival, Lynn also presented the world premiere of Elizabeth Raum's Phoenix with the renowned Nexus percussion ensemble. In June 2008, Lynn will also join Croatia's Cantus Ensemble in premiering another Michael Pepa work at Toronto's soundaXis Festival

Originally from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Lynn is currently based in Toronto, Canada where she maintains a busy performing schedule playing as recitalist and chamber musician, as well as with the Canadian Opera Company, Toronto Symphony, Via Salzburg chamber orchestra and in her role as Assistant Concertmaster of the National Ballet of Canada Orchestra.

Having guest-taught and lectured at several Canadian universities, Lynn also serves as a chamber music teaching assistant at the University of Toronto where she has joined the first Doctorate of Musical Arts class of 2011. She studies with both Erika Raum and Mayumi Seiler.

Lynn performs on a 1904 Riccardo Antoniazzi violin and Hill bow generously on loan from Michael and Steven Pepa.
