About
Lyndon Carriger was born in Lincoln Nebraska and raised in Omaha Nebraska. After attending college in Lincoln Nebraska, Lyndon worked for the Fox 42 television station in Omaha Nebraska. His responsibilities included: Master Control operator, Technical Director, and Photojournalist. He was very passionate about his career in news, but knew there was a bigger plan for his life singing the “good news.” So after being employed in television for four years, Lyndon took his singing full-time. Lyndon was a featured artist for the “Bobby Jones International Gospel Industry Retreat” which aired on The Word Television Network in 2003. In 2004, he was the opening act for Christian Jazz guitarist, Roland Gresham. He was the overall winner of the “Galaxy of Stars” talent competition which took place at the 2005 Nebraska State Fair. He has performed the National Anthem for minor league baseball teams, such as, the Lincoln Salt Dogs (opening game and for their Fourth of July game) and the Omaha Royals (Memorial Day Game). Lyndon has been featured on the Christian television network 3ABN. In December 2006, Lyndon performed in his first televised Christmas concert special on 3ABN. And also in 2006, he was a featured artist for Boulder Colorado's annual “Switch on the Holidays,” a Christmas outdoor concert. In 2007 Lyndon was a featured artist for the “Just Claim It Youth Prayer Conference” in Dallas, Texas and “Praisevision.com” where he has a music video performance in regular rotation. He has performed in various churches and in concert throughout the Midwest as well as Florida, North Carolina, and New York. Lyndon is a favorite on “The Christian Jukebox.com,” and in March 2007 was the top selling artist. His much anticipated debut album entitled “With All My Heart,” was independently released in November 2005. He covers old favorites like We Shall Behold Him, He's Been Faithful, and My Tribute. Currently Lyndon is working on his 2nd album to be released in the fall of 2007. This album, with arrangements done by singer and producer John Stoddart, puts a contemporary spin on classic songs by the world renowned singer and pastor, Wintley Phipps. Lyndon has been happily married to his wonderful wife and supporter, Tina Carriger, since August 2001. They currently do not have any children but are licensed foster parents and have cared for many children over the years.
