Luminis is a musical project conceived by Tara Ortiz, vocalist. In the early chapters, Luminis existed as a band, initially playing symphonic metal covers and then moving onto originals in the same genre. Over time, Tara developed her own voice and began experimenting with writing her own music, without regard to genre. Lyrics for Broken Doll are finished. "I'll carry you beside me, never let you go..." Now finishing up the music :)

"From Within", by Luminis, is an angelic, haunting and beautiful disc to listen to. "Into My Sin", the first track off this this disc and the first I have ever heard is still my personal favorite. However, after the first listen, "Falling Away From Me", captured my attention immediately and I had to listen to it again. The disc ends with "The Other Side of the Mirror" and the final lyric says, "Don't forget us!" I am going to say that I will not forget and I am looking forward to more music from Luminis!
If heaven had a house band, Luminis would be that band!
