Bio
I'm a non professional guitarist and songwriter from Italy.
Music is not my job, but is the greatest passion of my life.
About

I bought my first cheap guitar when I was 13 and I started to learn radio songs by ear playing with school friends just for fun.
After many years spent to listening rock, from Genesis to Led Zeppelin to new wave, in the mid of '80s I started to listen to jazz music and I discovered guitarists as Pat Metheny and George Benson.
But I was very impressed by listening to John Scofield and then, when I went to the shop to buy my new guitar, I bought an Ibanez AS-200 instead of Ibanez George Benson model that I wanted before.
While listening to the greats and learning some theory, I started to create my own music, recording it on a Fostex 4-tracks cassette recorder and then on my first computer, an Atari ST-1040.
I had a lot of bands too and I played live so much at school's party or clubs.
Recently I played in a band from 2000 to 2004, but now I'm too busy because of my job and my family to have a band and play live. So now I'm a "home based weekend nights musician".
The most important thing about making music happened when I switched to Apple computer. This thing really changed my life.
Apple's Garageband is the funniest way to make music and it deliver to you all you need to create your compositions, if you are able to play an instrument or not...
Garagebands doesn't have the features of major software applications as Logic or Cubase, but for anyone who just wants have fun with music it's more than enough.
And after you have recorded your composition you can share it with the whole world.
In my opinion, this is the most exciting way to make music today...
