About

La Muñeca y Los Muertos
(la moon-yeh-ka ee los moo-air-toes)
Spanish Translation: The Doll & The Dead
Blend one part ska with one part punk, add a Latina twist and a splash of eye candy, and you have got yourself the tasty alternative cocktail otherwise known as La Muñeca y Los Muertos.
Out front, guitarist/vocalist Muñeca Osorio pours out her heart, mind and soul; with harmonies by Dave Simon-Baker and his driving lead guitar. Kristin LoBianco holds it low and steady on the bass, while Nick Lee puts the muscle into the trombone and Matt Cohen is fierce on the drums.
La Muñeca y Los Muertos put on an energetic show, exploring themes such as awareness, positive perspective, and realizing our full human potential. Their upbeat rocksteady punk ska will get you up out of your seat and on to the dance floor.
