Since 2002, Listen Local has worked to unite the San Diego music community by offering showcase opportunities to bands of all styles, ages and abilities. Our free weekly showcases feature some of San Diego's best acts and each week we discover amazing new talent, too. Our mission is to promote interest from the public, offer exposure and networking opportunities for artists and to generally help perpetuate San Diego's thriving, local music scene. Started in San Diego in 2002, Listen Local was officially established in October of 2004 by singer/entertainment coordinator Cathryn Beeks, whose music can be heard above.
The goal: to get music lovers out and listening to the amazing music being created in San Diego.
