Bio
With a style that reflects an extensive performance career in classical, folk, rock, and Latin ensembles, from university halls in Spain to the Troubador in Los Angeles, Lisa Monet has shared billing with Norton Buffalo, Ella Jenkins, James Cotton, Michael Franti, Zap Mama, and many others. A native Californian and a multi-credentialed teacher, she first studied guitar as a child in Argentina, and has also lived, studied and performed in Spain, Mexico and the Pacific Northwest. She lives in northern CA with her husband/fellow artist, Rick St. Charles.
