Music and performing have been apart of Lisa's life from an early age. She started singing at the age of 3. "My family played a huge part in my musical development", she attests. Growing up, her mother played piano and her father played guitar. She remembers singing her first solo at her grandparents church in the small town of Breckenridge, Texas. "There was always a spot for me to sing because my grandmother lead the music service. I always looked forward to going to church as a result".
