Q: Why do Badgers have striped fur? - Andy Boyden
A: The 2 black stripes of the badger run through the eye. That serves to camouflage the eyes, making them less visible to their enemy or prey. In many animals, such as frogs, fish, and even birds, eye stripes are common, and they serve to conceal the eye, which is a giveaway feature that tells potential predators and prey that a live animal is present and which end is the vulnerable head end.
