Bio
After 10 years in the underground, LEYENDA gets a first record contract with PIES. In February 2005 the first official album, "Quintaesencia" recorded in PIES studios and produced by Manolo Arias (ex-Niagara, Ñu, Atlas,...), is released. At the end of 2006 LEYENDA signs with Akeloo Records. In March 2007 they released "A Medianoche", second official album, again produced by V.M.Arias and masterized in Finnvox Studios (Finland) by Mika Jussila. In September 2008 LEYENDA signs again a new record deal with PICAP for the upcoming three albums. The first one of them, "Horizontes", is released in April 2009.

When was LEYENDA formed?
Original members of LEYENDA were met at Universidad Autónoma of Madrid while studying Physics. They joined their musical influences to create, in September 1995, a band called Infernal that would evolve to LEYENDA with the years.
What does LEYENDA make?
LEYENDA songs are characterized by catching choruses and good melodies, mixing all type of classical eighties and modern hard rock/heavy metal. Lyrics, in their majority worked by the vocalist and guitar player Antonio S. Montemayor, try to seek free interpreted stories to capture moments and reflexions of our living.
Which is the current status of LEYENDA?
LEYENDA obtained the interest of PIES Record. In 2005 they released "Quintaesencia", their first LP. In March 2007, LEYENDA released their second album, called "A Medianoche", produced by V.M.Arias and mastered by Mika Jussila in Finnvox Studios (Finland). In September 2008, LEYENDA signs with PICAP a new record contract for the next 3 albums. The new one, Horizontes, has been oficially released in April 2009.
