“ANDERSON COUNTY — Sax tress Leisha J and Burgundy Blues Jazz Club will partner on Dec. 16 to host a Christmas benefit concert for New Foundations Children’s Home. The children of New Foundations are mainly children who are in the Department of Social Services custody and are victims of abuse and neglect. New Foundations offers these children a nurturing environment while offering counseling and support moving on after the abuse that they have endured. The program needs support year round; however, this Christmas, you can help put a smile on these children’s faces. The Christmas concert will feature Leisha J and her band, along with special guest vocalists Jamie Wright and Octavia Hall from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Burgundy Blues, 132 N. Main St., Anderson. ”
