Hailing form Southern California, LAWRENCE LEBO straddles the boundaries of traditional American music creating a hybrid of Americana Jazz/Blues/Roots music with vocals extraordinaire! Her debut Ep "DON'T CALL HER LARRY, VOL. 1" garnered rave international reviews, college airplay, live performances on such stations as KCRW FM and KPCC FM, and live performances sharing the bill with such artists as BOBBY BRADFORD and DOUG MACLEOD. The Ep's success got the attention of NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO who featured Ms. LEBO on the WEEKEND EDITION show, hosted by Liane Hansen.

With her second release "DON'T CALL HER LARRY, VOL. 2" LAWRENCE showcases her songwriting and arranging talents along with her spectacular vocals. In this follow up to her critically acclaimed debut EP, Ms. LEBO swings, scats and moans her way through both originally penned compositions, and originally arranged classics that run the gamut from rocking electric blues, acoustic swing, to contemporary jazz. VOLUME 2 is gaining airplay from such local stations as KCSN FM and KFJC FM, national stations as KTEP FM and WAER FM, and international stations such as CKCU FM in Canada.

Ever the Renaissance Woman, LAWRENCE recently returned to traditional academia. She graduated from UCLA in summer of 2005, where she had been named a prestigious REGENTS SCHOLAR and an ALUMNI SCHOLAR.
