“Laura Vecchione is a singer/songwriter in the Lucinda Williams tradition...the New York-born/Boston-based Vecchione similarly absorbs and reconstitutes so-called American music forms; rock, country, soul, blues, folk and even a little zydeco are all the same thing, as far as she’s concerned.
