Straight out of Southside Jamaica Queens comes a talented individual known to the hip hop community as Prince Po (short for poetry). He is one half of the lyrically astonishing 90's duo Organized Konfusion, who redefined talent and concept, continuously contributing soulful music to the hearts and ears of thousands across the globe. Prince Po and Pharoahe Monch dropped three successful LP's, traveling and touring international venues until deciding years later to explore solo ventures.
Over the past 6 years, Prince Po has created an impressive solo catalogue. He created and launched his own music entertainment company named “Nasty Habits Entertainment” with the purpose of selling records independently, collaborating with other established artists and molding and producing new talent. Prince released “The Slickness” in 2005 on Lex Records, which proved not only that he has staying power but his production chops are firmly established as well. Prince Po released his second solo album “Prettyblack” in the summer of 2006. Around this time he was also featured on Adverse's album “David”. The most recent LP release entitled, “Saga of the Simian Samurai”, was released in November 2007 and was produced entirely by TOMC3.
Prince Po has perfected and cultivated his craft by constantly keeping his ear to the street and developing projects that are instinctually relative and creatively intriguing. Nasty Habits artist roster include GBG, Stonewall and Brothamans. These individuals are humbly
gifted with exceptional rhythm, vision and wordplay and from their surreal life experiences, they’re sure to inspire and cultivate thousands around the planet. They
were a strong part of the Organized camp so they definitely have the patience and know how for reaching out to the people and rocking crowds. There is no doubt that Prince Po has been influential in molding the fabric of today’s “Hip-Hop Renaissance” movement but more so, Nasty Habits will be that family to take it to even the next universe.
