We play the FOURTH Wednesday of every month. Cato's is a beer and wine place with a lot of good bar grub as well. Their beer selection is excellent. If you're a beer fan, this place is worth a visit, and you can bring your kids if you wish. Band is Mark "Markos" Sowlakis on woodwinds, Scott Foster on guitar, and Kurt on bass.
The place really has an amazing view. We play upstairs in the lounge area, but you can also see and hear us if you are in the main dining room. Watch the sun set over the Pacific and hear live jazz, while enjoying drinks and maybe some bar food. Band is Lincoln Adler on saxes, Greg Sankovich on keyboards, and Kurt on bass.
Jupiter is a fun hang. Lots of beers on tap, a really nice patio/beer garden, lots of eye candy, good food, a cheap night out - you really can't go wrong. It's right across the street from Berkeley BART so it's easy to use mass transit to get to and from the place - you can be responsible AND drink your fill. Plus you can hear my group play. We're gonna have Greg Sankovich on keyboards, Lincoln Adler on sax, Rob Hart on drums, and Kurt on bass.
The Kurt Ribak Quartet - Matt Willis on drums, Lincoln Adler on sax, Greg Sankovich on drums, and Kurt Ribak on bass will play original acoustic jazz until 12:30 AM. The Hedley is the best jazz venue in Silicon Valley.
