Q: How do you get ideas for your songs??? Just wondering.
A: They come from everywhere! A lot of ideas actually come from things that people say. I've been sitting in a room with friends or family numerous times and heard someone say something that just triggers a song. One of the lastest examples of this is the song Rocking Chair. I was flying into Nashville and when I was at the airport I called my Mom. I asked her what she was doing and she told me she was painting an old rocking chair that had been on my Grandparents porch for years. I immediately thought about how long the chair had been there and how many times I had sat in that chair for some comfort. I sat there in the airport and wrote the song! Thanks for asking a question and checking out my Reverb Nation page! Kristen
