Bio
King Tut is a folkpsychtechrock duo based out of Asheville, North Carolina. Mark Boyd (Guitar), formed the band in the summer of 2006 with a different line-up, though Drew Veres (Drums) joined shortly afterward.
After writing a year’s worth of material on Mac laptops using Garageband and Reason, King Tut released their first album “Chopping Wood & Carrying Water” on a upstart label from Boston, Amaro Dolce.

So, we just had a meeting with our friends at Amaro Dolce, and we've decided to (in their words) "kick it up a notch." Not only are we writing more, and different, live songs, but we are planning some awesome stuff like:
