Im Jahre 2000 gründeten 5 Kieler die Band KILT. Nach ersten Demoaufnahmen und einigen Gigs im nahen Umfeld landete die Band 2003 beim Bremer Label TTS-Media-Music, wo das erste Album ‚The Art Of Selfdestruction‘ aufgenommen wurde. Nach zwei weiteren Demos und einer kompletten Umstrukturierung der Band wurde musikalisch eine härtere Gangart gewählt und die Band kam 2008 bis ins Finale des Wacken Metal Battle.
