The most immediate track is ‘Kerosene’ with a driving riff, soaring chorus and rumbling bass. ‘Over and Over’ is also built for the airwaves. Don’t be fooled though. There is some heavier and more challenging material here too. ‘Living On Mars’ features a skuzzy, gutteral riff before the chorus lifts the track and a change of pace injects a shot of adrenaline. ‘Ned’ chucks out a mean growl and weaves a narrative about Australia’s most famous outlaw. "...Essentially, this debut album sounds like you’d imagine Saint Jude would if they didn’t have that annoying phobia about kicking out the jams and going full-on balls-to-the-wall ROCK on us. Yes, it’s got a slight retro flavour to it but Kill For Eden are sensible enough to realise that music has evolved since 1975 and aren’t afraid to add a few new tricks into the mix. The Garbage comparison is definitely valid (especially on the bass-heavy “Beige” which would’ve fit quite snugly on “Version 2.0″) but there’s definitely more to Kill For Eden than that. Frontwoman Lyla sounds like she’s one part Shirley Manson and one part Stevie Nicks and it’s this collision between the past and the present that definitely marks Kill For Eden out as one to watch. this is a promising debut with plenty of variety from the “Personal Jesus” goth-glam stomp of “Slip Away” to “Little Wizard” which echoes the Cult’s “Fire Woman” with its echoey guitars building in

The Lancashire Rock & Bike Show will be held at Cropper Road Blackpool FY4 5LB. On Friday 7th and 8th June 2013. ALL UNDER COVER IN A GIANT MARQUEE!!!! so stuff the weather... We have a HUGE camping area, and you can turn up from Friday 10.00am. Tickets can be pre-booked from the details below. Please note: car parking is £10 per car, and there are very limited spaces, NO PRE-BOOKING AVAILABLE, once they are gone, they are gone. Children under 12 accompanied by an adult get in Free. Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult. NO FIRES NO BBQ's. NO FOOD-NO DRINK-NO DOGS to be brought on site. NOTE: Sorry we cannot accommodate Motorhomes or Caravans - However Blackpool Caravan Club Park is only two hundred yards down the road from the show. (CARAVAN CLUB MEMBERS ONLY) There are other caravan sites around the area, please book your site before setting off.
