Q: Ok I gotta ask one more question lol. What advice could you give me to better promote myself as an independent artist?
A: This is one thing I still am learning. Def wanna saturate. Gather email addresses of those hitting your page/bandcamp w/e. Then that helps later in defining your true base, from others. Offer loyal followers free things (bonus tracks, personal thank you vids). Also, find who the tastemakers are closest to you - the folks that write for local mags or blogs. Build relatiopnships with them so that you have captive audience and people willing to co-sign u thru media. Just starters, but trust its an ever changing game, so you have to just be open to change and rather give em more than not enough.
