I started on piano at the age of 6. Drilled in music theory from an early age, I picked up the trumpet at age 10 and was playing bass in original and cover bands by age 14. Since graduating from The College of  St. Rose (Albany, NY) with a B.S. in Music Ed. (Trumpet) I've continued to play in a number of groups on Trumpet, Bass and Keyboards, have played in the pits for numerous musical productions, have performed internationally on various cruise ships, and have taught Instrumental Music in schools and privately. 

My compositions and arrangements have reached the Latin charts (Latin Beat Magazine) several times, have been nominated for the Grammy Awards, and have been featured in motion pictures and television, and are played by groups thoughout the country. I'm currently playing Trumpet for Central NY's Soul Injection, and freelance on trumpet,  bass and keyboards. I'm also the director & brass instructor for Capital Brass (mini-Corp.- www.capitalbrass.org ) and Brass-O-Mania (strolling Big Band). When I put on my business hat and get a gig, I have my own Latin Jazz Group known as The Bartlett St. Project. Behind the scenes I continue to teach, write, arrange and record. I also have been doing some producing for a few artists, love to do collaborations, and do live sound as well.

Some of the bands I've been a part of include The Groove Syndicate (played kybrds.), Jay & The Americans, Alex Torres and The Latin Kings, The Joey Thomas Big Band, The Refrigerators,  Supa Kumba, Out of Control and others.
