  Fetch Agency, Whiplash Touring and Venom Present: SPRING LOADED 2012 A Metal assault is to be brought upon the Bald Faced Stag this September for one hell of Spring night. Combining a host of the branches that the metal genre entails, SPRING LOADED provides Sydney Metal fans with the perfect warm up to Octobers WHIPLASH festival, 7 hours of live, raw music and plenty of beer! Headlining the event as part of their Digital "Live" tour are local heroes LORD. On the back of their latest release Digital Lies t he band will embark on a 20+ date tour around Australia and NZ, with Spring Loaded acting as their Sydney leg of the run. LORD have been the cornerstone of the Australian Metal Scene for just under a decade, their classic melodic metal sound has cemented them as one of Australia's most High Profile Metal acts. DARKER HALF provide main support on the night, conveying a sound that is rooted in traditional metal while drawing on many other influences both metal and otherwise. The band have just picked up local support for Nightwish in January, as well as working on a new record with details coming at a later date. On the back of their 3rd album "The Architecture of Truth", AS SILENCE BREAKS join the Spring Loaded bill with their mix of Heavy Metal, Melodic Death Metal and Thrash Metal. Veterans of the Sydney Metal Scene, the band will incorporate Spring Loaded into their upcoming Album Tour. Also aboard Spring Loaded 2012 are Sydney's own KATABASIS who are fresh off a national tour and a new release, with SL12 acting as their return show after some time off. Melbourne's own Party Metal Kings ELECTRIK DYNAMITE make the trip up, with Queensland Death Metal troop WIDOW THE SEA heading down the highway in support of their newest release. Spring Loaded 2012 also features a host of Sydney's finest upcoming metal acts, with Western Sydney Metalers NOT ANOTHER SEQUEL, JUST ANOTHER PREQUEL, Black Metalers BORN OF CHAOS, Newcastle's ABACINATION and Local Tech Metal titans TO THE GRAVE adding further depth and excitement to this huge night of metal.
