It's that time of the year again folks. The Downtown Farmers Market is having their first market of the season on May 10th from 8am to Noon. And I'll be kicking it off this year. Yep. I'll be playing non stop from 8:30am to Noon with no breaks cause that's how I roll. So come on by, grab some fresh locally grown produce and take in a listen. I'll be playing songs by The Everly Brothers, John Denver, Jim Croce, Jim Reeves and plenty of other familiar songs you're sure to recognize.

Come on by Saturday evening to Hugo's Hilltop Restaurant in Mesquite, NV. I'll be playing non stop from 4:30pm to 8:30pm (Nevada time). I'll be doing the best in Folk, Americana, Country, Oldies and more while you dine on the best Italian food between SLC and Vegas. Stop on by. I'd love to see you. DIRECTIONS... Not hard to find at all. Coming from St. George, just take I-15 South to the FIRST Mesquite Exit, (PIONEER BLVD exit, EXIT 122, toward SANDHILL BLVD.) take a right turn off the exit onto East Pioneer blvd. Get in the left lane. You'll go about .5 miles. Highland Drive is a left hand turn. Look for The Highland Estates, you'll take that left turn, go all the way up the hill and Hugo's is attached to the resort. If you haven't ever eaten at this place and you dig Italian food, you owe it to yourself to check this place out. Hugo's sauces do not come in a bag, a jar, or a can. He makes his sauces and everything else from scratch. Prices, for example, on February 15th (because I was playing music there on Valentines day), my wife and I went to Hugo's for dinner. I had his Chicken Alfredo (generous portions, couldn't finish it there and I'm a big guy) my wife had his 8 oz filet Mignon and we both had sodas. Our meals were served with his tomato bisk soup AND salad. (I don't like tomato soup but I could eat a whole pot of Hugo's tomato bisk soup). Our bill came to only $44.10. All of Hugo's meats are free of preservatives and hormones. I don't say that Hugo's Hilltop Restaurant has the best Italian food between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas because I play music there. I'm serious. I discovered this place long before I started playing music there and have been a fan pretty much since he opened. They're having their busy season. Reservations aren't required but not a bad idea. Call (702) 346-2855 to make reservations.
