Bio

The Kamikaze Queens are a colossal, gutsy, rock´n´roll bullet for the twenty-first century. Like the film noir damsels of 1920’s Berlin—petulant, sexual and ambiguous—so are the 2 front women, Trinity (Sin City Circus Ladies) and Mad Kate (burlesque dancer and performance artist)—naturally vivacious, visceral, and insanely energized. Back them up with Tex Morton (Mad Sin, Sunny Domestos) on screaming guitars, Luscious Lloyd (Sin City Circus Ladies) on slap bass and Nico "Lipps" Lippolis (Colinda, Sandra Nasic) on drums you have a sound like a suicide pilot dive-bombing your rock´n´roll senses.

About

Kamikaze Queens deliver one of the year’s most interesting and infectious albums, "Voluptuous Panic!" on Sounds of Subterrania Records. It's a raucous, rockin’, sweet smellin’, 100% unbending creative force fit for any dance floor—an eclectic mix of spooky punk cabaret songs, soulful garage numbers & dirty rockabilly riffs that’ll tickle your Detroit Cobras or your Dead Kennedy while greasing up your Southern Culture on the Skids.

As an International Berliner band with members from California, New York, Virginia, Italy, and Germany, the Kamikaze Queens are ready to rock around the globe.
From punk clubs to psycho shows to heavy metal festivals to the Tiniest Bar in Texas, they manage to win hearts and conquer any audience with their unique energy and one of a kind ensemble.

Heavily Influenced by the mayhem of 1920's cabaret Berlin to its modern day hedonism, the Kamikaze Queens follow in that tradition of sexy, theatrical live performances with elements of burlesque, punk, glam and vaudeville, while musically their style ranges from early punk rock, soulful garage, punkabilly, country, dirty jazz, waltz, dark bluesy ballads, and good old fashioned rock'n'roll.
