Jota Wagner, 33 y.o., has celebrated 2006 as his tenth year as a DJ, a decade full of amazing parties all around his homeland and Europe and besides good services done to the Brazilian electronic scene.
Today, he is one of the main characters of Brazilian underground house music scene and his DJ sets are always in the hot pursuit for the perfect equation between the innermost groovy beats and the distinctive bass lines that build up the trend. Good mood, a ten-year experience and funky style DJ show, Jota Wagner has been spending his years crossing Brazil up and down while playing at clubs in Spain, England, German and Scotland.  He´s actualy one of the resident DJs of Vegas Club, one of the most important underground clubs of Brazil.
Jota also has been since jan/2007 the main director of Lunatic Jazz Records, a Sao Paulo based company dedicated to release and publish underground house EPs worldwide. Lunatic Jazz allready has a full schedule for 2007/2008 releasing artists like Joe Silva, Javi Rial, Rafael Accorsi, Filoops, Anhanguera and many others.
As a producer/remixer, Jota Wagner has released tracks through labels like the Australian tech-house group Kindred Sounds (Spinifex/Arabica Records) and Brazilian Grooveland Music for the last few years. One of his music projects is called Beatbrothers, - awarded first place two years in a row (2005-06) of the Festival Cultura Inglesa, a yearly British Council festival supporting new talents in a number of different fields.
The success in Sao Paulo house scene is mostly due to his monthly party, Colors. Created along with his brother - also a DJ - Wander A., Colors party was born in 2001 and now, after more than 60 national editions, has been considered one of the most important events of Sao Paulo nightlife. Although Colors has been Jota's principal showcase, it's neither the only one nor the first. The DJ's been playing as resident for some other worth noting parties in the 90's such as Chain Reaction, Soul Heaven and Kraft Club (based in Campinas - Sao Paulo countryside), Bit Sessions Party (Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) and now plays on his other monthly projects - Groovehall and Bacana. Jota has also been into important national festivals like Red Bull Live Images, Vivo Open Air and Hype Festival.
