Bio
Josh began his music career later than most. Only picking up a guitar at the age of 20, he quickly fell in love with creating music. Josh has since played his original music in 25 states, as well as a couple of shows in Canada.
He resides in NYC where he frequents some of the city's most well known venues. He is often on the road playing everywhere he can. Josh is releasing his second album the fall and will begin his second national tour shortly after.

A World Unto Itself
You know you've encountered truly good music when it conjures a world of its own making, a place to which you can escape, a place in which nothing exists but the music itself. “My music is the one thing in my life that can take me away from everything else,” says Albright and it's his desire to see his listeners feel the same way. What once was a method of self-healing has become his life and his special way of reaching out to others. “Music began as my therapy but has now become something much more,” says Albright. “Writing and performing music has become who I am and what I want to be.”
Trapping Memories
Music and emotions are closely related indeed and Josh's music functions on that understanding. Music's relationship with the feelings of the heart has much to do with its ability to inspire nostalgia and to carry us through time to different places in our lives. “Music can trap memories inside of our heads for a lifetime.” Music has man in its thrall. There's no doubting that. The songwriter is our priest, of sorts, linking the listener to the power of music through the artist's talent. Albright is our leader on a journey through our emotional landscape.
The Artist at Work
Albright is busy putting together plans for studio time. He's writing heavily and working towards completing his first demo. He's just finished a photo shoot, is putting the final touches on some recordings and is planning his marketing and merch strategies. Josh has recently left Proviaus Talent Management and is now working with a very close friend, Justin Weaver, who is managing Josh's booking schedule. He is very excited to be working with such a talented and driven individual.
